Amazon.com Product Description This playard from North States is a great choice for parents who spend time outside and need to keep an eye on baby while gardening or enjoying the sunset. The weather-resistant plastic allows it to stand up to Mother Nature and most toddlers up to the age of 2. | | North States' playard folds up easily for convenient portability. | But it's not only meant for outdoor use. It can just as easily be set up inside--for a few hours of entertainment while at the grandparents' or permanently at home base. Once the six interlocking panels are connected, the size-adjustable device boasts 18.5 square feet of protective play room. If you decide to purchase the 2-panel extension kit (sold separately), this can increase to 34 square feet. Imagine the possibilities! Other benefits are that the playard is durable and lightweight for easy portability (a carrying strap is even included), it is easy to clean, and it offers quick access to baby. Should you want to prevent baby from getting into something not meant for them, you can also reverse the playard's setup. For instance, placing it around the Christmas tree or outdoor plants can keep children away from trouble. The Superyard is certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA), assuring you that it's safe for your little ones.

Does the job. January 6, 2009 This is a pretty good gate for the cost. Nice and big. The hinges are quite hard to maneuver and very loud... but otherwise, does the job.
Not so good for Shelties December 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my quadruped baby and within 25 minutes, she had climbed out of it. I suppose it works better for babies than puppies. Frankly, I was really disappointed. Apparently the "mesh" on the playpen makes it ideal for little doggy feet to get a toe-hold and just climb right on out.
However, it is quite sturdy and strong and I was impressed with its quality. The downside is, it is NOT easy to set up and move around. The hinged-joints at each panel are hard, hard, HARD to adjust and move.
happy December 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
We have 4 children 3 are 4 and under. This is a big help both in a circle and straight out to keep little ones away from Christmas tree and Fire place. Plan on using outside in nice weather. Much better looking then the plywood we were using.
great December 27, 2008 I love this gate. We bought it to use around our christmas tree and it worked great. My daughter could not get to it at all. She crawls to it and pulls up she also shakes it and leans on it. The gate is very sturdy especially if you use it in the ways shown on the box. We took our tree down yesterday and now use it around our tv so she can't get to it. She is a little upset that she can't play with the dvd player anymore but we love it! I have told many of my friends about this gate.
Its ok for now December 27, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a little difficult for my husband and I to put together but we managed finally. We have a small living room and it takes up quite a chunk of space. Its great for putting all baby's toys in one area. My problem is that my seven month old is now pulling herself up to stand and can push on the walls and move it on the wood floor. I'm pretty sure she will soon be able to move it a lot further across the room. The thick play mats underneath have helped keep it in one place for now at least. I would've liked to see some kind of door on it - a little hard on the back to reach in and get baby out if baby's in the middle. Yes I realize I could step over it but I have short legs and definitely not as nimble as I used to be. Would also like it if it came in different colors so it didn't look so much like a dog kennel.
