My Daughter loves it! April 25, 2008 My husband loved this book as a child and bought it to read to our daughter when I was pregnant with her! Now, she is 2.5 and really into more detailed books at bed time. We recently started reading it to her, and she loves it! We are building our Serendipity library now! Oh, and living in Seattle adds to the excitment of the book!
Dad read this to me as a child May 29, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I loved this book when I was little (about 30 years ago!). It is a wonderful, funny book. My dad was from Tacoma, but we lived in Southern CA. I finally got to see the Space Needle when I was 17. The book brings back such lovely memories.
Must have March 22, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had this book as a little girl. Now that I've left my hometown of Seattle, my best friend has moved there. I got the book as a gift for her. If you grew up in Seattle or live there now, you must get this book.
Happy to see the Weedle back March 14, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My little boy loved this book. He read it just about every day for a year. He still looks back on it fondly (He is now 26). All Northwest Kids or ones who have seen the Space Needle in Seattle need to read this book.
one of my all time favorite books when i was a kid February 27, 2005 i LOVED the Serendipity Books when i was a child and this was by far my favorite, i remember making my parents read it to me every night before bed. the fact that i lived in Washington state probably had something to do with it ... i remember laying in bed after hearing the story and looking out my window and trying to find the light on the top of the Space Needle ... the fact that i lived on the other side of the Cascade mountains, no where near Seattle didnt faze me a bit. 20 some years later i still remember loving this book.
