Bright and colorful May 19, 2010 Carol B. Johnson (Kerrville, TX) I purchased this book for my grandson who is autistic, thinking the many colorful pictures would be helpful with his speech therapy. I was delighted to find that not only he liked it but his 9 month old sister liked it as well. The pictures are brightly colored and are of items of interest to babies and toddlers, food, toys, animals and lots of babies. Delightful. Well done.
Great Book! May 18, 2010 Dad 33 My 20 month old loves this book and has since he has gotten it (at 16 months old). He loves to point and name the pictures and he loves to find what I ask him too. This books helps him learn a variety of words.
Great for babies May 12, 2010 My 10 month old loves this book. It is very colorful and has great pictures. A great buy for us.
Great book March 19, 2010 W. Centala (Kentwood, MI) This book arrived a few weeks ago and my 15 month old daughter looks at it daily, at least 3-4 times if not more. She loves the vivid pictures and colors, and I am hoping she can start pointing out pictures on command. Some of the pictures are not what I would call common, such as an owl and several others. i think these could have been replaced with pictures of other more common things. Nevertheless, she does really like it. As far as durability goes, my daughter is a rough and tough little girl and has put this book to the test already. The pages are fairly think cardboard but she has managed to bend one almost in half, but it has bent back pretty well. She often stands on the book while it is open and it has stood up to that pressure but there is a little give in the spine of the book. I do think we started her with this book a little soon as she is just learning the limits and expectations of her behavior and is often really rough on things, but overall I would recommend this book. If she is still looking at it as much in 3-6 months from now I will buy her a new one.
Great book for little ones February 12, 2010 Old Rider I bought this book for my sixteen-month old grandson for Chkristmas. Out of the several that I bought him, this one is his favorite. The book is colorful and he likes the pictures. Hopefully, he is connecting the pictures with the names! The book is also sturdy, which is a plus for little ones. If you're looking for books to start off your future readers, this one works well.
