Product Description THIS SEUSSIAN, DELUXE cloth book is a bouncy, first counting book for babies and toddlers. Based on Dr. Seuss’s imaginative classic, If I Ran the Circus, these soft, fluffy pages are filled with multi-sensory elements and super Seussian rhyme. From a drum-tummied Snumm complete with rattle to four horn-tooting apes with a squeaker, and more, you and your baby can count on lots of fun!

Great book December 1, 2008 My 3 month old loves this - she tries to turn the pages, is fascinated by the different colours on each page and loves the rattle and the trapeze artist flaps. The cover is good too - the elephant is slightly raised and the yellow patch behind him is furry.
Good Book July 22, 2007 The illustrations in this book are great, but the interactive features are just OK. For example, there is a 1 inch peice of cloth that is supposed to be a tail on an elephant. My 5 month old daughter can't grab this tail and it doesn't really contribute to anything. There is also a ball on a seal's nose that a child can feel. The ball is made out of a shiny fabric but doesn't really feel any different than the cloth used to manufacture this book.
A big disappointment! January 30, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have collected Dr. Seuss books and everything associated with his stories for over a decade before having children. I was so excited when his widow released the Dr. Seuss Nursery Collection; however, this is the most disappointing book in the new lot! With very few pictures and very few colors to engage a young child's attention, the book also has very few pages and a not-so-exciting version of the original storybook (i.e., not much to this one!). I've given it 3 stars because Dr. Seuss is my favorite but recommend it only for very young infants and those who appreciate his work as much as I do!
Wonderful book! January 10, 2006 My toddler LOVES books. You can't get her away from them-and this one is one of her favorites. It has lots of things to do throughout the pages-a rattle attached with velcro to shake, to sections to practice separating and reconnecting (also with velcro), a horn to squeak, and an elephant's tail to lift. She has been able to sit looking through this book for minutes! since she was just 6 or 7 months old-it really holds her attention. I highly recommend this book!
