Excellent book June 16, 2008 We started with this book when our daughter was born and have continued to read it over and over - she loves it. Now she's 8 months old, and she's really starting to love the pictures and animated voices we use when we read it to her. She also loves the mirror and colorful pictures - continues to analyze them. It's also a short read and you can do it over and over.
FABULOUS! March 17, 2008 What they say about babies loving to look at babies is so true! My 5 month old son is utterly fascinated with this book, and anything that keeps his interest on a book is a winner, IMO. It's open ended enough for you to make up your own narrative and sounds. I would say that it is definitely a BABY book, and might lose it's charm for a toddler, but this is my first baby and I haven't got proof of that. Well worth it!
greate item March 11, 2008 My 6 months son loves it. every time we open this book he starts giggling. the mirrors are the hit. The book has survived the chewing very well.
My baby's first book that he loved February 28, 2008 I love this book and so did my son. It has a mirror on every page so you can see your little one's reaction.
Fun, interactive book for little ones! January 4, 2008 My son really enjoys this book. It's only about 12 pages, 6 page spreads, but it's a good length for a toddler who has a hard time sitting still for long. The best part about the book is that each page has a "mirror" (shiny reflective paper) and when you read each page, basically you're making a face or doing something, at which time the toddler can try and imitate and look at himself. An example of one page is the frog sticks out his tongue and says "blah!", or the gecko opens his eyes very wide.
My son enjoys the book, he loves anything Baby Einstein it seems, but I'd recommend this book.
