Product Description Belt positioning boosters are the biggest advancement in child safety in years. Automobile seat belts are designed for children above 57" tall. Most states have enacted legislation to keep children in boosters until ages 6 to 8 years. But, what it takes to keep an older child content are not the same as a baby. Learning Curve's Compass Adjustable Folding Booster Car Seat provides the answers for both you and your child. The patented folding feature takes moving the seat from car to car and storing in the trunk to a new level of convenience. Features: - Deluxe padding will keep your child comfortable and content, even on the long trips
- Rotating arm rests make installation easier because the belt path is clear
- The rotating arm rests also improve the ease of use because children have an easier time crawling in and out by themselves
The head rest has a full EPS foam (bicycle helmet foam) liner to absorb energy in an impact- The deeper side wings provide additional protection for your child
- The 6 position height adjust will grow with your child
- Designed for children 3 to 10 years old, 30 to 100 lbs, and up to 38" to 57" tall
- Narrow bottom rails allow the seat to fit into sculpted bucket seats even in small cars
- Taller, higher belt path (2") to accommodate children with larger torsos
- Rubber armrests provide additional comfort for the child Deep and supportive seat back stays fully enclosed in any position
- Back extends to 30" high

Great booster for 3 1/2 year old twin boys! April 7, 2008 I bought these boosters for my 3 1/2 year old twin boys because we needed the safest, space-saving option that would allow us to move them from our van to our car quickly and let everyone fit in the car or van. In addition to our 3 year old twin boys, we have 2 teenagers and they were getting too big to climb in and out of the back bench seat of our van. We needed a safe option to move the boys to the back bench seat and allow the teenagers to move up to the captains chairs. We also wanted to retain the seat in between the twins in the back, if possible. After researching safety, I was set on either this seat or the parkway but the reviews for this one sold us.
I was very nervous about moving from a 5 point harness to the seatbelt, but once we put the twins in them, I was immediately comforted! As soon as the boys were buckled, the seats felt very stable and didn't wiggle or slide around at all. They felt and looked as stable as their 5pt harness seats! We took a test drive in them, and the seats remained in place and all of my initial worries were put to rest!
In addition to my concerns about safety being put to rest, the ease of use met up to other reviews as well. The seats were VERY easy to install, as well as easy to move from our van to our car in just a matter of seconds. Although we haven't needed the fold-up option, I could see how that would be a huge benefit when you're traveling.
Another concern for us was comfort. Our family likes to take road trips to visit family in other states, and we want all of the kids to be comfortable in order to keep the complaining coming from the back to a bare minimum. With four kids in tow, that is an absolute necessity! We have had these seats for a little over a month now, and we're thrilled with the comfort level. The boys have said to me that the seats are soft and feel good, so I think we'll be able to tackle a few road trips with ease (well, as easy as they can be with toddlers and teenagers)!
All in all, we are very pleased with this purchase and we would buy them again. I'm dropping down to 4 stars instead of 5 because of head-support when the boys fall asleep. The side head supports (which are there for safety reasons and very necessary), don't support the boys heads when they fall asleep.
Bought 2 for twins, and love them! October 18, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
We purchased two Compass Folding Seats for our 3.5 year old twin boys and we love them! They are incredibly well-made: sturdy, deep padding, tight stitching, etc. Very, very nice. The adjustable shoulder strap holder is great and keeps the belt exactly where it needs to be in a comfortable and safe position. I was nervous about transitioning from a 5pt harness to a booster/belt combination, but once we installed the seats and put the boys in them, I was instantly relieved. The boys are snug, secure, and comfortable.
GREAT product!

I am a grandmother and the grandchildren really like riding in these booster seats. Very well made and fabric has held up well. Would recommend this booster to anyone.
Great seat February 20, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We have three of these, one for each vehicle, and they have served our daughter well. They are lightweight for easy portability, and soft, as booster seats go.
