I'm an Aerospace Engineer Daddy, so I will write based mostly safety features and facts, no emotions...
The Maxi Cosi is a very well built car seat, it gives the perception of a strong and sound structure and it's a very well built system out of solid polyurethane (strong plastic) and steel I trust to restrain our daughter, and it's lightweight.
The handle forms a wide arc around her so it does not make her feel like she is being confined and restrained, and comfortable to carry. It has large push buttons on each side for easy swing away.
The car adapter has a steel base plate that adjusts to varying inclinations of the rear seats of both our cars, this was a plus, and it comes with its own belts to latch onto the new car built in anchors.
The rubber strips at the bottom base make the seat very safe to place on a table without slipping. The baby sits inside a Styrofoam cocoon covered by the Cosi patterned designer covers that absorbs the child's shock energy if she was in a car accident or if the carseat simply slipped off your hands onto the floor. This is Aerospace technology used by astronauts, another big plus for this well built seat.
It's not a cheap seat but the safety features are well justified and well worth the safety of our baby daughter. The Maxi Cosi Pink Pokka Dots Happy flowers was very cute to begin with (that was an emotional opinion, lol!). Hope our review helps, you won't be disappointed with this product, have fun searching!
