Can turn into a pram! attachable bag included but hard to turn August 7, 2008 I've had this stroller for about 2 years. Overall, I gave it a 4 b/c my biggest complaint is that it is hard to turn. This might be due to the fact that I got a floor model so I would strongly recommend it ONLY IF you try it out and don't have any issues with the agility in turning. With that being said, the BEST feature is that it can be a pram for those tiny babies and for this price, no other stroller does that that I know of. I use it maybe once per week while shopping/strolling.
Pros: 1. good size canopy with a zip off back flap for ventilation. 2. no cup holder... but I often just throw my water bottle onto the top of the canopy when it's pulled back plus... 3. the zip-on diaper bag is awesome and has 1 exterior cup holder on it so really there is a cup holder 4. ok weight. I don't find it too difficult to fold. yes, you have to attach the locking latch after folding it, but I usually don't even do that. since there isn't a carry handle, you have to pick it up with 2 hands to put it in the car anyway and it doesn't unfold. 5. excellent large adjustable footrest which CAN BE FOLDED UP and then held up by the nap bar. since it reclines NEARLY flat and there is an automatic head barrier (soft fabric flap), this turns it into a pram basically which was AWESOME for a napping infant - I could wrap her not strap her in without worrying that she'd slip out the front 6. nap bar is padded - although mine never did lean forward and nap so when getting a double stroller, i won't make having a nap bar a necessity 7. I'm 5'8" and rarely kick the wheels (unless in frustration at the difficulty to turn it - see below)
Cons: 1. I always find myself saying "it has a mind of it's own". It is VERY HARD to turn. I pretty much have to put alot of weight on the 1 handlebar in the direction I want to turn - as if just pivoting on the 1 wheel. I always cursed myself for buying a floor model thinking that's the reason why it's soooo hard to turn or that it had something to do with the suspension. I noticed one other reviewer though also commented on the difficulty in steering. I would never expect to be able to push a double handled stroller with one hand easily like other reviewers mentioned; however, I would expect that it would be easier to turn with 2. doesn't stand up when closed unless it's resting on the handles which I don't do for cleanliness sake 3. my sunshade doesn't pop off when folded, but it does fold over to one side a bit so has always been a little lopsided. again - could be just due to being floor model - haven't seen anyone else complain 4. basket is small; however, if you use the attachable bag for your diaper bag, it really is ok
Love this for one reason July 26, 2008 We got this stroller with the car seat. I agree that if you think you are going to drive this with one hand, you are crazed. However, I love this car seat because my son, who is now 30 months, can comfortably sleep in it still, rolling over and stretched out even at 38+". The key to the sleeping at toddler age is the kick out at the bottom. No others really have that, especially for the price. We also have a combi and it is far narrower and he sleeps much worse in it. It is however highly manuverable if that is what you want. The Britax also flods unbelievably narrow (but long). I can fit it and tons of stuff in my Jetta truck.
Great Shade Coverage July 18, 2008 I had the Peg Perego Aria travel system for my first child and decided to buy the Britax Companion carseat & Preview stroller for my second child. I love the shade coverage the Preview stroller provides when the Companion is attached to it -no sun whatsoever is on my baby! Great stroller, I just wish that it had a tray and I didn't have to remove the front bar padding to attach the infant carseat. There is not a console for my drinks; however, there is a "diaper bag" attached to the back of the stroller and I just put my drinks in the bottle holder or zippered pocket. I love that I can go shopping and put my bags on the handles and the stroller does not tip over! I have done this when my baby is not in the stroller and when she is in it.
I'm very satisfied, and either is my son... May 31, 2008 This is a very good stroller. I'm very satisfied with the features. The 5-point harness provides enough security and is confortable to my son. The leg and the back rest can be easyly adjusted. It doesn't have cup holder, but it is not needed because it has a removable bag to storage whatever we need. I loved the material and the design because it is very lightweight and at the sametime very resistant. It can be easily driven with one hand because is lightweight and the design of the wheels allow to controll the direction easily. It is compatile with the Companion Car seat wich is even greater than the stroller. The only disadvantage that I found is that when the back rest is laid back to the completely horizontal position it blocks the basket underneath, so if the child is sleeping it is not possible to take things out from the basket.
Where do I start.... November 9, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ok, I bought this stroller because one of the plastic clips broke off of the seatbelt of my zooper twist stroller so I thought I would try another brand of stroller, big mistake. For one thing this is a full size stroller with an umbrella fold so it's pretty heavy. The other thing is that when I went to fold it up the hood that doesn't really work anyway, pops right off the frame and is in the way of the clamp that keeps the stroller together. Yet another thing is that when I walk my feet kick the wheels! I am only 5'3"! The handles are definitely too short. I did like the diaper bag that hung on the back of the stroller and the basket underneath was pretty big for this type of stroller. The very deep recline was a plus too but I returned this stroller and bought another zooper twist.
