I live in AZ. My son would cry every time I put him in his hot car seat, even after cooling the car down. Two large ice packs (included) are inserted inside insulated pockets. The packs cover both the back and seat areas of the car seat. The car seat stays very cold! My son laughs now when I put him in his COLD car seat. I have used this all summer in over 100 degree temps and will not go without it now! One day I was out and about 7 hours and the cover was still cold.
Pad is soft and easy to carry with straps. Buckles no longer get hot. All you have to do is remember to put ice packs back in freezer at night. I highly recommend this gadget!

I did not care for this item. I had one and actually got rid of it. I don't think the quality was the greatest and I don't feel it did much for the car seat. Friends of mine have the Cold Seat brand and that is what I'm planning to purchase. It seems much simpler. I thought the Baby Bee Cool was bulky.

I have not used it too much yet but the couple times I have it has really kept the seat nice and cool for our little one. With temperatures about to reach 110 I know we will use it a lot.
