Customer Reviews:
Don't buy this seat Recaro Como September 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We just bought this seat and it does not come as pictured. The head rest is floppy and gets in the way of the childs head when you are trying to put the child in the seat. The worst thing is that when I contacted Recaro's sales manager Katherine Eubanks she said I was making this up and it was impossible. It took her 10 days to return my calls and emails. There are other websites that document this problem. It is shameful that a company like this ignores it customers. I would avoid all recaro seats now since they are not interested in supporting their customers. I would hate to have any one else go through what we have gone through.
I like this seat. September 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've never written a review before so here it goes:
-We have a 25 pound, 7 month old boy that fits perfectly in this seat in regards to straps, positioning, and freedom of movement (well, as much as a 7 month old really needs)
-We have a 2005 Toyota Corolla and can fit this seat in the back in the rear facing position with little difficulty. When installing the seat ensure you read and look at the diagrams and pictures....it might just be me (probably), but it doesn't make sense otherwise. Once you read and look, you can install the seat with realive ease.
Well, that's it. Thank you for the time.
One bad feature August 12, 2008 Wonderfully made with safety in mind, this car seat has it all. The only bad feature (this was bought for my grandson) that my daughter told me about is that the head restraint is NOT adjustable. There are only two slots for the seat restraint to go through. She is in the process of trying to find a tailor who can add more slots so the seat can be adjusted properly.
