The color is nice and it is a cute coat, but it is not warm at all. I bought my daughter's a size big, and I am glad I did this. She wears a warm sweater or hoodie then puts this on top. The jacket does keep her dry, but the lack of lining will not keep her warm. But as long as your child can fit a warm sweater or jacket underneath she'll be fine.
