Mother of twin boys. No ripping here! August 25, 2008 I have twin 4 y.o. boys who are very rambunctious. They wear Underjams every evening to bed and we have never had any ripping, as I have read on other reviews. Maybe the ripping occurs on larger children who do not fit in the product properly. Perhaps Pampers should read these reviews and make an even larger size, as several parents have commented on. For our age range and purpose, they work wonderfully well. For the parent who said that it isn't obvious where the front is.... actually the predominant design is on the front, whether it is the lizard or the number. It's the same on all of them, and if you have a child old enough to put them on himself, he can be taught that, and your problem is solved. I wanted to add my review so that parents who haven't tried the product won't be turned off by the "ripping" posts, as I, a mother of enthusiastic twin boys, have never had any ripping.
Not big enough underjams August 23, 2008 This product was disappointing. It said that it was supposed to fit up to 85 lbs. and that is not the case. They rip to easy and don't fit up to 85 lbs. They don't fit up to 75 lbs. properly. Now I am stuck with 2 3/4 packs unused and had to spend more money for another product.
Great product! July 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are the best there is to offer for your children. They hold a lot of liquid and they are really comfortable for a child to wear. Super soft! They don't crinkle when the child moves in bed and they sit below the waistline, where every child I know wears their pants. The one downside (because a lot of older children have this nighttime bed wetting problem too) is they should come in one size bigger. Some of my son's school mates are larger than average (unfortunately quite common these days) and these would be too small for them.
UnderJams Diapers July 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The UnderJams diapers do a good job of containing the wetness. They are comfortable and remain hidden under clothes for daytime use. The downside is something has to be worn over them or the sides will fall apart. They work well for big kids but we need a new larger XL size and the sides need to be stronger. These actually absorb as much as a regular Pampers Dry baby diaper. These are going to be great for kids who need protection at school or on trips.
Not exactly what I had in mind, but... June 29, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My son is 10 years old and still has nighttime bed wetting issues so we use this type of product nightly. We have been using "Good Nites" since he out grew the "Pull-Ups" brand. We tried the Under Jams to see the difference. My son can't tell which is the front vs. the back of the item so that bothers him. The other brand prints a "tag" in the back. It worried me too since it's a boy product and we want the protection more up front. If you can't tell the front from the back, then that's difficult. Also, it seems to ride up on him and I bought the large/x-large size. My son is 5 feet tall and weighs only 75 lbs. It's not his weight that is forcing them to ride up his behind. I like the price, but if the fit is not as expected, I'm not sure we'll buy them again. However, he occasionally will produce so much urine that the Good Nites would not hold it all. We haven't had that problem with this product yet.
