Terrible October 27, 2007 These are only good for 1-2 washes and then they pill and look terrible. I would not purchase again. Sadly there doesn't seem to be too much else out there.
These are great September 26, 2007 I am really happy with these pads. I am able to use them for baby massage and when my daughter has an accident they absorb the liquid and wash up nicely. It is great as I was previously using a plastic mat which was cold and uncomfortable. You can use these everywhere and I am buying more to replace the changing mats in my diaper bags as these are much nicer.
great product August 17, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got these as a hand me down and they still work well! So well in fact that i wish they woudl fall apart so that i have an excuse to buy new ones. Its basically a plastic sheet sandwiched between 2 layers of cloth, fused together so they dont shift. I like them as they prevent your changing table mattress getting wet, yet I think they are way better than a plastic mat for the following reasons: 1. are not cold . 2. they fold down to smaller sizes then a padded plastic mat. 3. are more hygenic since you woudl probably wash them vs. just doing a "wipe down" 4. do not crack at fold lines with prolonged use. I have been using the same one for 2 years.. still going strong and no leaks.
There is some pilling after washing but nothing that hinders the usage of the product. It cant look brand new forever. Besides, think of these from your babys perspective.. which kind would you put your bare bottom on ;)? .
Cheese it, The Fuzz! April 5, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
My Wife and I bought this item for the usual reasons. We washed them and had no problems with fuzzballs or shredding. They're just as soft and sturdy as they were before we washed them, if not a little softer. For the record, we washed them on the cold cycle with other baby clothes. They went through the drier for an hour at the lowest heat setting.
Anyway, I'm just writing the review to offset the bad review. There was nothing wrong with the pads that we received, and they do what they're supposed to do-- get between the warm baby and the cold changing table.
Dont waste your money!! April 25, 2005 16 out of 18 found this review helpful
I thought these would be great specially for the $ but I was soo WRONG!! I've only washed them once, to have everything clean b/f baby gets here and they are covered in fuzz balls!! The fleese is covered in lil balls and strings of balls, way to many to even remove by hand- And on top of that on some of the edges the layers just came apart at the seam!!!It looks like a 20yr old fallen apart hand-me-down after one wash!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!
