Don't Order stuff from Target thru Amazon..return policy is horrendous!! October 8, 2008
I ordered the DwellStudio for Target Soho Crib and upon receiving the shipment, my husband and I were appalled at what we were sent for the $300+ we paid for a crib. The drawers were chipped (where you can see the dark wood although it was white) one part was even painted over which is how we determined that the damage was done when the crib was being put together or packaged up and that it wasn't damaged during shipment, because the box was in tick-tack shape. The side rails of the crib looked as if they were cracked. When I called target (which is what the package slip said to do for returns) they told me they couldn't help me that I had to call Amazon. I called Amazon, and aside from getting very bad reception (on their end..because my phone was fine with the prompts until I was connected with a representative) the rep. told me they couldn't replace the damaged parts, I had to send everything back and just get a refund..point blank. Now I am 7 months pregnant, and looking to get the baby room finished, I have no time to ship a crib back, wait for a refund and then be able to look for another crib, unfortunately, this is the situation I have been placed under with Amazon & Target. I will never purchase via online for something like this again.
