I gave this as a gift but the parents have not used it. She said she has a bigger warmer she uses in the home and has not had the need to use it. So my rating is it is a frivious gift that is rarely needed for moms in a rush. Although grand mothers would love to have it when they babysit.

This travel warmer doesn't have most of the problems I read about in other reviews of regular sized warmers (i.e, browning, spilling, not warming all of the wipes, etc.) The only downsides are that the clasp can be a little tight and requires two hands to open it, and it holds fewer wipes than the standard. However, I find that it is enough wipes to get us through 3 or 4 days which is worth it to avoid those other problems! I have since passed this down to my brother and his wife and they also love it too!
the best kind of wape warmer out there February 1, 2007
i got this for my daughter. it is the best. it keeps the wapes warm and it don't burn or dry them out like the other ones do out there. i like that it has 2 plugs for it. one plug is for at home use and the other plug is for the car use. the car plug goes right into the car lighter. i had a different wape warmer and it burn and dry out the wipes. with this one it don't. it is worth the money to get it.

I'm quite pleased with this warmer. We bought three of them: one for upstairs, one for downstairs, and one for the car. We've had them for 18 months now, and we're quite pleased with them. We only use them in the cold months, when the coldness of unwarmed wipes seems to make my son dread diaper changes. And I can tell a marked difference in his emotional state surrounding diaper changes when the wipes are warm.
I love that the warmers are small and portable, and I certainly wouldn't buy a bigger one. However, I ended up donating the one I bought for the car. It only heats when the car is running, of course, but I hadn't thought of that when I bought it. The car wipes were never warm when I needed them, so it didn't make sense for us to keep a warmer in the car. It was easier to warm them up by holding them in my hands or blowing on them.
The only negative that I have for the warmer is that it is a little difficult to open with one hand (which is sometimes necessary). However, I think the same design that makes it difficult to open with one hand is the design that keeps the wipes wet and warm. The wipes stay moist without drying out. And the warmer does a good job of keeping the wipes warm. None of the wipes will be hot, but they'll be much warmer than what you can accomplish with your hands. The wipes will get much hotter if you toss a towel or something over the warmer, which I discovered by accident. I'm not comfortable advocating that as a safe thing to do, and I'm sure the manufacturer wouldn't recommend that either. But I figured I'd pass on the information just the same.

I bought this wipes warmer together with another model (I have two of them) and I just went for holidays and took along this model (the other one is far too big to pack). I loved having taken this wipes warmer. This is a tiny detail but somehow it made my baby not feel too far away from home. Again all diaper changes at night not made him too fussy by using the warm wipes. I have not used the car plug. I think it will be somehow useful but I don't foresee using it any time soon. I recommend this one if you go out on holidays since it is not bulky and easy to pack.
