Leaky and innacurate measurements August 28, 2008 These bottles are very cute, but that is about all they have going for them. First of all, the measurements are highly inaccurate. Any liquids that I put in them have to be measured in a different bottle and then poured into these, which doesn't make any sense to do... why not just leave it in the accurate bottle?! Secondly, these bottles leak like crazy. I have tried lots of different nipples looking for one that would not leak with these. The ones they come with leak the worst out of all that I've tried, so I immediately tossed them in the garbage and started trying others, but still haven't found any that work well, which made me think that the problem must be with the bottle/nipple ring. Well, now I have finally found a way that I can use these bottles... I bought a cheap pack of Evenflo plastic bottles with yellow rings & caps (so they coordinate with the colors on these bottles) and use the Evenflo ring and nipple with the Momo bottles. It works, but it is so wasteful. I would return these if I could. Save your money and buy the regular old Evenflo glass nursers, which work great and are very durable!
Glass Bolttles are the way to go! May 29, 2008 I bought these due to the new information about toxins from plastic baby bottles, even though our son is almost done using bottles. These bottles are high quality and since they came in individual packages- we have given several of them to friends having babies, so that they can benefit from what we wish we would have known when our son was an infant. We had used Dr. Browns bottles and loved them, but the plastic bottles seemed to degrade at the bottom from the bottle warmer heat and then with the new infomation about the plastics used in baby bottles- we pitched them. I have seen Dr. Browns glass bottles at Babies R Us, but they are scarce and your really only need those for the first 6 months or through the likely colic phase. All in all, these were a great buy and I was very happy with them. My only suggestion would be to add nipples with 2 level flow, since these bottles are larger and more likely used by a slightly older child that is beyond the level 1 infant nipple that comes with them.
cute but a pain March 31, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are so cute. And with all the talk about chemical leaching, glass feels safe to use. The problem is that the neck is so narrow you cant get anything in it without help of a sieve(word?) type object. I bought the three and had them sent to Sweden to use, but have decided to sell two and only keep the one we have used and maybe only use that for water. Im fairly disappointed. I reccommend that you get the wide neck Dr Browns glass nursers instead.
momo glass bottles November 14, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These bottles are very nice but measurements are inaccurate. My son loves the bottles. In case any one wonder these bottles are made from China. I didn't mind because they are glass bottles.
