worked well for us September 16, 2008 I was very concerned about BPA levels in other bottles but was reluctant to go the glass route. Having bottle-fed my other 2 very infrequently and preferring to nurse as long as possible, I decided on the Adiri Natural Nurser. our daughter took expressed breast milk FROM ME without any hesitation and kept right on going with my husband or our sitter. 1) it does take some practice to get the hang of assembling it and my husband is much better at keeping it from leaking while upside down than I am. 2) our daughter is now formula only :-( and we don't warm her bottles, so this hasn't been a problem for us. With frozen milk, I would just defrost it separately. 3) Having the volume labeling "upside down" is a little bit of a hassle, but I have gotten good at gauging the level from the inside of the bottle 4) she did start refusing the white stage 1 bottle at about 4 months, but I switched to the blue stage 2 and she was fine.
Great idea but not any better than the platex drop ins September 8, 2008 Great idea but not any better than the platex drop ins and they're alot cheaper. I had a baby that took a bottle then quit and it didn't work for her. I just left her with someone else for 4 hours and she took a regular bottle.

Adiri Bottle Review
Leak, leak, leak, leak,... it will leak at the nipple, it will leak at the cover. I read good and bad reviews. I thought I give it a try because I liked the design. I regret trying. I bought 10 bottles. All 10 bottles leaked. I made absolutely sure it was dry and tightly covered. The bottle needs to be upside down to read how much milk is in it. When it's upside down it will leak at the nipple. When you turn it back over all the milk that leaked from the nipple will now be all over the bottle when you remove the cap. Then it will leak at the cover, which is on the bottom of the bottle. One leaked so bad it drained a whole 60 ml of milk while just sitting on my counter. If you don't mind dealing with a fussy bottle and a fussy baby at every feeding then get it. Not worth the price. Surprised it won an award. But, then it is a innovative design award. Functionally it sucks more than my baby. Remember I tried 10 bottles and they all leaked. You may be purchasing the 11th bottle if I would have replaced the ones I bought if I replaced it. But after going through 10 bottles and experiencing all 10 leaking why even bother getting replacements.
nipple collasped over time and poor latch August 13, 2008 At first I was really impressed w/ the design. I believed this was the closest my son could get to breastfeeding while I was away at work. Then I started noticing how the nipple would collapse & cave in until it finally tore in 2 months time. Since the nipple was too long, my son could not really get a good latch, the bottle would bounce off his chin and often milk would dribble down his chin. Plus it always leaked from the nipple when pouring milk in. I just expected better from a $12 bottle.
The Only bottle my baby took July 28, 2008 The noted complaints of this bottle are true, as soon as you are ready to feed you baby turn it over otherwise it will leak. BUT - after many bottles, Dr. Brown, Playtex, Born Free, this was the first and ONLY bottle my 3 month old would take. So is it perfect - nope, but if your baby refuses to take a bottle you should definitely give this one a try. Note - I also opened up the holes on the nipple more for easier feeding.
