Think this works great July 23, 2008 I know this product has some bad reviews, but i think it works great. I am able to get out 2 ounces a sitting and i think that is pretty good for my breast anyway. Always works great each time. And it is BPA free
Great little pump! May 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this pump and have loved it so far. It's a tad on the loud side, but since I don't have to manually pump(I had the Avent ISIS and it was tiring on my hand) it's so worth it! It's easy to use, and clean!
Okay, but not great April 30, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I received this pump as a gift at one of my showers, and it has been okay. I rarely need to pump milk since I stay home with my daughter, but it is nice to be able to every once in a while if I need to. This pump is loud and it has to be on the highest setting in order for it to work. Mine does not have enough power on batteries, so I always have to have it plugged in. I am able to get about 8 oz in 15 minutes, but lately I think that it has lost some of it's power and I'm afraid it isn't going to last much longer. The good things about it are that it doesn't hurt, and it it easy to clean and use.
Loved it April 6, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I only breastfed/pumped for 6 weeks before returning to work. When I used this pump I was amazed that it did not hurt. All parts can be detached and thrown into a pot of boiling water which is way quicker than the dishwasher.
It worked so well that I would pump only in the morning. I would get close to 10 oz. Since breast milk is good at room temp for so many hours. I'd just seal the bottle after each feeding and put a new nipple on for each time. I never refrigerated it or froze it my consultant said it's no good after an hour or two thawed when it's refrigerated or frozen. I was able to bottle feed her breast milk all day and breastfeed at night and my daughter would sleep thru the night. Needless to say easy baby I was blessed.
I only had 1 problem with this pump but it was my own fault, I'd start to fall asleep while pumping and tilt the pump/bottle and milk would hang out at the top and start to make a loud noise it was my fault tho, you have to keep it perfectly upright.
loud but works April 3, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This pump pulls as much milk as the hospital grade pump I rented. I'm not sure about the reviews that state it has tubing - it doesn't (my Medela does but this one doesn't). My only complaints are that it is loud and a small blue piece that creates the suction falls out easily. Had I not noticed the sound of it hitting the floor, I might have missed dropping it and would have thought the pump had bad suction or had lost suction.
