I have gotten so many compliments on this nursing cover-up. I take it with me everywhere I go and use it constantly. I feel covered and able to nurse my son anywhere at any time. And look stylish at the same time!

We ordered this for my wife because she was a little uncomfortable with breastfeeding in public, mainly because of having to expose her midriff with most shirts. Blankets don't work well, and are constantly slipping, plus you can't see the baby very easily.
This nursing cover fixes all those problems. The neck loop is fastened by D-rings, allowing you to adjust it easily with just one hand. Once you have the neck adjusted where you like, you can just slip on and off over your head.
Probably the most ingenious feature of this cover is the pliable plastic bridge at the top of the cover, allowing the cover to stay away from your body so you can actually peer down and see your child. It is generously sized but not overwhelmingly huge.
It is made of a thin cotton, so isn't over hot to wear. And it comes in lots of great patterns, that are modern and not matronly. Definitely worth the money.

I use mine 5-8 times a day, especially while out in public. What did I do before I owned this??? It's an amazing nursing cover that provides light weight (breathable) cover-up while still allowing you to peak down at the baby feeding. It folds up easily and fits into any pocket or diaper bag. I pretty much just carry my baby in my sling, with my cover-up and a spare diaper. All you need! If you breastfeed this is a must! Washes great in the washing machine too.

I put one of these on my registry list because a friend who already had children recommended it. Boy, am I glad I did! My hooter hider (a.k.a. bebe au lait) allows me to nurse virtually anywhere discreetly and comfortably. The neck strap has saved me from any embarassing moments where if I had been using a blanket, the world would have seen what only my baby should be looking at :) Really, if you are nursing, or plan to nurse, invest in one of these... they are worth every penny!

Although it's a simple idea, and probably very easy to make your own, my friend highly recommended this, and so I thought I'd try it out. I haven't actually used it yet, as I'm due next week, but I've tried it on and familiarized myself with the concept. It seems like a great product and I can't wait to use it!! It also seems very durable so it should last...
