| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com For breastfeeding mothers who experience moderate leakage problems, these nursing pads protect clothes from breast milk stains, and are soft and comfortable against skin. Made of several layers of 100-percent cotton fabric, the pads collect moisture before it soaks all the way through. In addition, these nursing pads are environmentally friendly. They are reusable and can go right in the washer and dryer with the rest of the laundry. The pads are pre-shrunk to provide a smooth fit under clothing, and are gently contoured to conform to changing breast sizes. Each package comes with four reusable pads. --Cristina Vaamonde

not very absorbant April 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i use these at nigh and they don't absorb well. I often wake up to find them soaked through. They are also rather thick so they can be seen through clothing.
Soft and Strong March 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
For a washable nursing pad, this product is the best. They are soft and prevent leaks from showing as expected. The only draw back is that when they are washed, they do lose shape a little.
Use Lansinoh disposable pads if you'd like to be more discrete March 23, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
After purchasing the Lansinoh disposable pads, I decided that it would be more economical to use a set that is washable.
The washable Lansinoh pads are soft and absorbent. However, I was disappointed that the pads are not quite large enough. The Lansinoh disposable pads are significantly bigger in diameter. The fabric on the washable pads also became a bit "wavy" after washing them, so they are more visible underneath shirts than the thinner disposable pads.
As a result, I recommend using the washable pads when you're at home or underneath pajamas, and the Lansinoh disposable pads out in public when you'd like to be more discrete.
Does not absorb heavy leaks. October 7, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
If you are at the beginning of your nursing, I would not use these because they will not absorb heavy leaks. I would use one of the disposables or one that is plastic lined in the beginning. After about 3 months, you will not leak when you have let down. So, after that, I'd recommend using these for light leaks.
Good quality washable pads August 26, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I tried several different nursing pads with my first daughter and found that the Lansinoh are the best! So much so the only nursing pad that I want to use for my second nursling. If you have heavy leaking, as you're apt to in the beginning, you will need to change pads frequently. But this is true of all nursing pads. Lansinoh are actually thicker than some of the other brands out there.
