| Customer Reviews:
I am very pleased with these and highly recommend them. May 24, 2008 These pads are the fourth brand I've tried, after Lansinoh and Gerber Ultra-Thin (both disposables) and some washable cloth pads (I forget the brand), and in my experience these are the absolute best. Each type of pad I tried prior had pros and cons, but I have no complaint at all about the Johnson's pads.
I'm wearing them for both day and night, and even after wearing one set all night my bra, shirt, and skin were dry despite the pads being completely saturated. With the other brands, I regularly woke up with everything wet. Regarding daytime wear, I occasionally leaked around the Gerber pads and the cloth pads, as they were relatively small and also did not stay in place; the Lansinoh pads were larger in diameter and had adhesive to keep them in place, but I sometimes leaked through them. Neither of those situations has occurred with the Johnson's pads.
These pads have remained in place flawlessly, even without using the adhesive strip, and they are not noticeable under my clothing. They feel so completely comfortable that I am able to forget they are there. They can contain a much larger amount of moisture, and they are soft and perfectly shaped for me.
The only thing I would change about the Johnson's pads would be to have them individually wrapped like the Lansinoh pads, so that I can carry a spare set in my purse. In light of all the good things about this pad, though, that's a very minor concern.
Great April 15, 2008 These are the best nursing pads I have found so far - soft, absorbent & they breathe...
I love these! March 11, 2008 These are by far my favorite nursing pads they're way thicker than the medela I would highly recommend!
My favorite for daytime wear February 11, 2008 Of the three brands of nursing pads that I have tried, these are my favorite for daytime wear.
Because of the nipple dimple and the contour shape (thin at the edges, thicker in the middle), they are nearly invisible through clothing. They also don't make a crinkly sound when you move like some other brands do.
They are also quite absorbent, though not absorbent enough for nighttime wear for me. For that I use the Lanisoh pads. But the Lanisoh pads have a little bit of a crinkly look and sound through my clothes, so I don't like them for daytime.
I keep both brands on hand and give them both 5 stars for their respective specialties.
Best for me! October 26, 2007 I really love these pads out of the many I've tried (Playtex, Lanisoh, Evenflo). They are soft, super absorbent, and have a special indention for nipples, which is VERY comfortable if you have sore nipples. Also, the special 'nipple' shows SLIGHTLY on the other side which makes your clothing look more natural, in my opinion. I'm very self conscious about wearing nursing pads, and usually use (gerber) cotton washables in conjunction with disposables. These have never leaked on me, even when I became engorged with milk using them alone. Try a small pack first to see what you think! Happy nursing!
