my baby has one of these in her fist most of her waking hours. and i think it's GREAT that she can't take a bite out of them -- that's the POINT of teething biscuits! you're not supposed to chew 'em up, your supposed to rub your baby gums and teeth against them, to sooth the teething irritation. (a teething biscuit that breaks easily is a totally dangerous teething biscuit, a choking hazard! so, please, ignore the negative review on this page, where someone complains the baby can't chomp 'em to bits. that's exactly why these are excellent!)

I bought a single box of these biscuits to try. Great ingredients, smelled nice and maple-y...but my one-year-old baby could not get a bite out of these. He sucked it, chewed it, chomped it, but seriously could not get a chunk off. And he has eight teeth. I kept trying one every other day, until we've pretty much gone through the box, but to this point he has never been able to eat a morsel of these little rock slabs--he ends up dropping it on the ground in annoyance. We have had much better luck with Earth's Best organic teething biscuits, which are more like a hard cookie consistency and which he will happily crunch away on his own.

They smell good, but my baby isn't interested. She sucks on them for a minute or two but then chucks it on the floor. I think part of it may be the biscuits are too hard. Unlike other teething biscuits that eventually give the baby something to eat and swallow, these remain rock hard. That said, my baby does like to chuck stuff on the floor.

These are great and my boy loves them. No sugar or other nasty stuff, and they stay solid for a long while, making choking less likely. A+++
