Weird taste and smell June 13, 2008 I am not sure if I just got a bad apple, but when my pacifier came I opened the bag and it smelled weird - like rubber on a tire. The pacifier also tasted like you were sucking on a tire and my 4 month old was not impressed. I think it's a great idea to have the frog attached to the paci and my baby likes to play with the frog but the pacifier tastes weird to him and he won't touch that.
Cool concept June 9, 2008 The wubbanub is a pretty cool concept. I had been looking all over for ideas to help my son keep his pacifier in his mouth when I came across the wubbanub. It sounded great, so I ordered one, and was thrilled when it came in. My son first got the soothie pacifier while in the hospital, and for a while that was the only one he would even take, though we've recently gotten him to take others also, so I didn't think anything of this one. I think the wubbanub would work great for younger babies, but I didn't get mine until my son was 2 months old. By that time I think he squirms so much while trying to go to sleep that it doesn't do any good. I also think that if the stuffed animals were of beanbag weight, they would stay a little better. For a brand new baby, I think this is a great idea, for a baby a little older don't waste your money.
Mr. Frog loves his new home! May 24, 2008 I got this as a "push gift" for my wife, but given that our baby is as stubborn as I am, I gave it to her as a small mothers day gift. She loves it. I can't give much of a review on how the baby enjoys it as she's not gonna be here till wednesday, but we're sure she'll love it...
My son loves his froggy! February 14, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My son loves this pacifier! He is four months old and is learning how to grab the frog, not just the pacifier part. It soothes him! He was given the soothies pacifier in the NICU, and I just never bought him any other brand, so when I saw this, I thought it was so cute! I can even put it in the sanitizer. The only thing that I don't like is that you can't take the pacifier off. It is sewn on. Other than that, it is great and I would recommend it.
The best pacifier ever! January 30, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My son was given his froggy in the NICU where he stayed for 9 days after birth because he was 3 wks early and having feeding issues. The froggy kept him company at night when we weren't there and it stayed in his mouth easier because he could hold it and has become his best friend. He is 9 months old now and he still loves his froggy and hugs it and strokes it when he is sleepy and keeps him company in his bed at night. I recommend this to any mom. To the mom who thinks it is gross: I wash mine in hot water in the gentle cycle of the washer and I haven't had any problems. I have the doggy as a back up but the froggy is his favorite. I highly recommend!
