The first thing to note about Graco's pack `n play is that it is larger than many playards. This colorful, mesh-sided pen unfolds to a 38" x 38" square, rather than the rectangular shape of most others on the market. While this equates to needing more space, it also means that baby is provided with a bigger (and sturdier) area to play in. The playard's stability comes from a four-footed metal frame, which-along with the four corner feet-gives it eight points of contact with the ground.  | | The included bag makes storing and carrying easy. | Setup takes one person only minutes, from snapping the frame in place to securing the rigid, padded-top floor (cutely decorated with a fun bug pattern) with the Velcro fasteners. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this playpen! July 7, 2008
I can't gush about this playpen enough. I was looking for just a playpen -- nothing fancy -- for my daughter. I wanted her in a safe place if I needed to get some chores done and the pack-n-plays with the bassinett feature weren't big enough. And, besides, I didn't need the bassinett feature. This pack-n-play playpen was so easy to set up (I think it took me 3 minutes) and it's so big and colorful. I even put my daughter's activity gym in there and she's having a blast. And it's nice to know she's secure and off the ground. I love the size of this thing too and the fact that it's portable. The best of both worlds. I would give this 10 stars if the ratings went that high. Oh, and Amazon had this to my door within 4 days. Talk about instant gratification!
Great Product! July 3, 2008
This is a great place for baby to play. As a square, it provides much more room for baby to move around and play instead of in the rectangular pack n plays.
My daughter also loves the animals in the mesh, and plays with them quite a bit.
The only thing is that I wish Graco made sheets for the bottom.
Overall though, we're very happy with this product.

Love the playpen but it is smaller than described--36 x 36, not 38 x 38.
Great Play Yard June 25, 2008
I bought this play yard for my new granddaughter. It was the only large, square one I could find. They have made so many improvements over the years. It folds into a relatively small bundle, is easy to operate, and is colorful and interesting for the baby. My daughter was so impressed she is considering a similar purchase. She already has a "crib size" play yard.
This item is a really good value for the money.

Graco Pack 'n Play Portable Playard in Bugs Quilt
Being a grandmother who had a playpen for my own children I was very pleased to see and purchase this playard. Our grandson loves to pull up and walk around the edge. I'm just sorry I didn't find it earlier. I can cook while talking to Ben and he can throw his toys out to his heart's content. He's taken a nap in it, too. I definitely recommend this for any new parent or grandparent. It's easy for one person to put up and take down.
