Product Description Most babies love gliding through the air. Babies 9 months up can safely swing in this extra soft and secure seat. Safety straps in the front and back, along with a high seat, ensure your tot stays safely snug inside the swing. Netting on the back of the seat helps keep baby cool and allows air to circulate. We love the deep blue fabric and squishy soft orange seat. The summery colors of the canopy give this seat a clean design and make this a unique and stylish addition to a child's bedroom, playroom or nursery. Please note that this item is not a "bouncy seat." Covered with washable polyester fabric, with beech wood molding, adjustable straps and a spinnaker nylon canopy. Maximum weight load is 45 lbs. Lovingly designed in Germany. The Airy Fair Swing is installed via hardware available at any home improvement store. For safety, we recommend installation in the ceiling wall studs. Hardware not included.

My kids love their Haba swings April 16, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this for my baby and the Icarus swing for my toddler. I hated to spend so much on swings, but they have been well worth the money. We hung them inside in a doorway so they can use them over the long winter months.
They are both well made and attractive. My kids have used them almost every day for a year now--not many things that I've bought have had that kind of staying power.
Our toddler loves this swing. November 11, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
We've had this since our boy was 8 months old; he's now 2 1/2. He loves this very sturdy swing--he calls it his "parachute" swing and apparently finds it comfortable, as he wants to stay in it for up to half an hour. There are very solid latches on both sides (the kind used in heavy-duty backpacks) and lots of padding in the seat.
My single complaint is that the padding is so thick that getting him in and out of the swing is a little awkward unless I have a second person to help by holding the front and back of the seat wide open. I need to hoist my child with one arm and use my free hand to wedge the seat open, then wiggle him into the seat, threading one foot through and then the other, then fasten the latches. Once he's in, though, I feel he's very safe, and I am not sure he could get out even if he wanted to given the stiffness of the padding.
The materials are high quality. Ours still looks brand new, though it's spent the last year outside hanging from the roof of our covered porch (we live in New England). All in all, it's been well worth the relatively high price.
