 REALLY difficult to fold and unfold! April 10, 2010

When I first unfolded the play yard it was a snap, however, folding it up again was nearly impossible. Even worse was trying to get the bars to lock in place to put it up again. Three people (all with college degrees by the way) were unable to get it to reopen and lock. We finally had to look up advice online, and it still took quite a bit of trying. My advice is, don't buy this unless you're never planning to take it down.

When my friends came from Italy to stay in my 1 bedroom NYC apartment and to also go to the Poconos I needed something small, sturdy, safe and easy to set up for their 7 month old. And, we didn't want to spend too much because they won't be back too often. It fit the bill, and when it folds up, it takes up very little room. Exactly what we were looking for.

I ordered this play crib for my little granddaughter...it was a great buy. We found it to be well-built and easy to clean. It folds up nicely to put in the trunk for trips which was big for my family. We also keep it up during the day so she can safely have some time to sit up and do all the other things a little one can do. One reviewer said it had a smell but we did not find that in the one we recieved. I would recommend this product as it was a good buy and it makes my little granddaughter very happy.

We recently purchased this play yard for our granddaughter to spend the nigh with us. It sets up very easy and can go from room to room. Our little who is 8 months old is very happy spending the night with grandma and grandpa. We did not need one with all the bells and whistles...this is a great buy for the money.

This item was advertised as new, and actually did come in the manufacturer's box, but when I opened it up to use it for the first time, it had a horrible smell like sour milk or baby throw-up. I needed it right then, so I cleaned it and used it anyway, but I am irritated that a supposedly "new" item would have such an awful smell to it. I would not order this item online again, but would go to a store and make sure it was actually new.
