Love it! July 31, 2010 ashbonics (Atlanta, GA USA) The FP Newborn Rock n' Play Sleeper is awesome for babies with reflux, spit up, and/or gassiness (probably all babies). My newborn sleeps in it every night. It's great b/c I was told that I should keep my baby upright for about 30 minutes after feeding to help with spit up/reflux. Who wants to do that in the middle of the night? With this sleeper, I can nurse, burp, & put to bed.
BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD!!! July 31, 2010 J. Chu (Florida) Our daughter would spit up a lot at night and would not sleep through the night on her back. We did not want to put her on her stomach because of SIDs. Then we discovered this rocker, after reading the reviews I HAD to try it. WELL WE WISH we would have bought this earlier. After 2 restless months, we finally got a good night sleep with this. Yes our daughter woke up every few hours for a feed but then went right back to sleep. We can fold it up and carry it to grandmas and move it around the house. the only thing we would like is an automated rocker, but since she was soo confortable in it, we really didnt need to rock her much. After 5 months though, she started to out grow the rocker. She started grabbing the corners and trying to pull herself up, so we stopped using it and put her back into her crib. We didnt want to wake up to a baby falling on the floor.
Hard Back = Flat Head July 30, 2010 Cindi Youngs (Newton, MA United States) Like the others... this worked great from the start. We got this when my daughter was 4 weeks old, she is now 12 weeks. She has acid reflux, so we needed her propped up. This was perfect. I noticed that her head starting getting flat. I had never felt the back of the sleeper. Upon inspection, it is hard like a table. We stuffed some cloth diapers in between the layers and it's much better. But beware of this. Also... once you put the babies in here, it's really hard to have them sleep anywhere else. They are used to being upright. My daughter is having a tough go with sleeping in her crib now. Daycare will be a nightmare (sleeping in a pack 'n play).
Simple, sturdy, comfortable, great value for money ! July 28, 2010 Laura H We are so impressed ! This is a great item - very sturdy, simple, comfortable, portable, and a great price ! Highly, highly recommended.
Best idea ever!! July 27, 2010 Ashley Peterson (PENNSVILLE, NJ, US) I really really love this. I used it for my daughter to sleep in for the first few months and she loved it because she felt like she was being held. Also it's easy to take to grandmoms since it folds up. I also used it just to set her in to keep her happy. You can easily wash it as well for when spit-up happens. I'm upset that I can no longer use it since she now rolls over and trys to climb out of it! lol
