Product Description The design of the Moby Wrap uses your entire back, as well as your shoulders, to carry the weight of your baby. Unlike other carriers, which have narrow straps or go across one shoulder, the Moby Wrap is a wide piece of fabric that is wrapped over both shoulders. It is amazingly comfortable and easy to wear. There are no buckles, snaps or other fasteners. It is easy to adjust the fit of your Moby Wrap by varying how tightly you wrap yourself and your baby. The Moby Wrap comes with an easy to follow instructional guide and this web site with the latest news, tips and techniques. With the single stretch cotton and the width of the Moby Wrap, your baby is wrapped close and tight, insuring a secure hold. Your babys head can also be secured under the stretchy cotton fabric for added safety. You can finally have both hands free and know your baby is safe and secure.

Best baby carrier EVER...from experienced mom of 3 October 1, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have a Moby D, but I bought this one for my mom. I have tried several carriers and the Mobys are the best for several reasons. 1) they are the most comfortable for mom AND baby. 2) they put other carriers to shame because Moby can hold baby in any position while other carriers are limited to two positions at best. 3) it is ergonomic, meaning it is good for mom's body by using the entire back and hips and shoulders to support baby's weight 4) easy to clean! Throw it in the washer and dryer and go! 5) it looks great! I wear it without a shirt underneith and no one can even tell. 6) you can use it for nursing, but it requires either smallish [...] of some finesse 7) the sun blocking quality of this particular wrap makes it a real must-have. 8) you can wear it all day. I plan to buy several in different colors...and at the bargain price that they sell for, its well worth the investment!
I LOVE this wrap! August 27, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I now have three boys, when my second one was young, we were introduced to the concept of baby wearing, I wished I had known about it sooner, he is a special needs child and would have really benefited from babywearing right from the start. I used to use a non adjustable sling (new native style) it was good for the hip hold and it worked for the time, but, my shoulders and back were always sore. But, for the sake of my munchkin and because I believed in babywearing I soldiered on. Now my third one is three weeks old. I had tried a sling again and it just wasn't working. He didn't like it much because he couldn't be upright and looking around (he loves to see what's going on) and again, it was already making my shoulder and back sore even though he's only 10 lbs.
So I went online to look for more options and ran into the moby wraps. I have only had this wrap for a week, but have used it for several hours every day. There are several different positions that can be used, it is incredibly versitile, if your child doesn't like one position, don't worry, there's pleanty more to try. It also comes with a handy little carrying case so when you're done with your wrap, you can roll it up and put it in the carry case, it rolls down very compactly. Very easy to carry around even when not in use. Best of all, it's SO comfortable! No pain, soreness, or stiffness when wearing or when I'm done, it distributes the weight so well!
My son naps when I'm in with him, and a little on his own, but is more likely to wake up often. With this wrap, he naps wherever I am while I'm able to have both hands free to do things with my older boys and around the house. It has also made shopping a breeze. Wearing the baby leaves the basket and seat open for either merchendise, or my other boys. I can't say enough good things about the moby wrap.
I love this; my baby doesn't July 15, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love the look and comfort of the Moby, however my baby prefers the more structured Baby Bjorn.
The main issue for her (near as I can tell) is that she slumps into a crescent shape unless the Moby is wound around us very snugly. If she doesn't immediately fall into a deep sleep for an hour or two, she gets antsy in the Moby after 10 minutes or so.
As you can imagine, trying to extricate your screaming kiddo, and yourself from 18 feet of tightly wound fabric -- sometimes with no soft place to put the baby down -- is no easy feat. I've waddled home with the wrap dragging behind me...
Every baby's different -- mine doesn't like slings or the Maya Wrap either.
