Product Description With The Peanut Shell you can forget about baby carrier complications. There are no buckles, metal rings or adjustments to be made and the sling can be worn five different ways to carry a baby or a toddler up to 36 lbs. The Peanut Shell is compact so you can easily toss it into a diaper bag when you're on the go and it can also be used as a stroller cover or a baby blanket. The sling features sleek leg padding to increase your baby's comfort without added bulk or warmth, a perfectly placed hook for attaching toys and a small pocket for carrying essentials such as keys, a cell phone or a pacifier. This adorable chocolate brown and baby blue is a perfect combination. Large scale blue polka dots on a deep espresso background. Reverses to a deep espresso brown.100% cotton reversible with subtle padding tht adds comfort for baby and not bulk. A great feature for when you baby is in the hip carry

Difficult at first May 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this because it didn't have rings and looked easy to put on. My baby did not love this at first. He would straighten his legs and refuse to get in. Plus as a preemie, he was completely sunken in and often his chin would touch his chest (not safe). After much practice and adjusting the shoulder outward creating less of a pouch, he is able to sit up. It is cozy and your baby will fall asleep in it.The hard part now is getting him out without waking him up. I think it would be better for an older infant who can hold his neck up.
LOVE it! December 7, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is one of the best things I've bought for my baby!! We have two other slings (the adjustable kind with rings) and a baby bjorn-- none of them hold a candle to the peanut shell. It is the easiest to put on and the most comfortable to wear-- not to mention more fashionable. If my baby is tired and fussy, I pop him in the shell and he goes right to sleep. He also really likes trips to the supermarket because he gets to look at all the goodies at shelf level-- not like being trapped in a car carrier. FYI- because it doesn't adjust one size does not fit all-- my husband's shoulders are too big to wear my peanut shell, so he uses the bjorn.
