| Customer Reviews:
A bit of a manufacturing issue... September 30, 2008 I got the rack fully assembled, and attached to my bike, but encountered trouble getting the seat to attach to it. I found that one of the three bolts would not screw in. After some time of thinking I just was missing the hole, I examined the nut built into the rack, and found that it had no threads in it! Rather than disappoint my daughter, I found a skinnier bolt, the nut, and some washers, and secured the seat myself. I'm hoping that I can find a Customer Service line somewhere, as I don't want to have to take it back. P.S. Once attached in its rigged up fashion, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the ride!
Does the job and my son loves it. April 17, 2008 As noted, it works. Not the greatest, but my son loved it. Word of caution it is not designed for bikes with suspensions, so if you have a Mountain bike it says it will not work on it. I have it on mine, but it took some extra work to make it fit. In general, I am sure their are better, but I am confident that this is sturdy and it holds my son well.
My Girls Love It September 30, 2007 Assembly was straight forward. My advise for installation is to assembly the whole base unit first (which is what I did), but don't tighten any of the bolts yet. Then bolt it to the bike frame. Now tighten all the bolts, this will make it easier so you don't have to loosen the bolts to make adjustments so that the base unit will conform to your bike frame.
The ability to remove the carrier from the base unit is nice especially if you hang your bike like I do or for days that you don't ride your child around.
Both my 2 and 4 1/2 yr old loved it.
Just beware of Bell's Customer Service! June 25, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
There is none. If you ever need to get info or a replacement part...good luck.
