So easy and safety first! September 2, 2008 This is so easy to use and my child doesn't even realize he's really wearing it. I just walk behind him with the strap dangling from my hand and he thinks he's pretty much independent! except I Can pull him back if I have to. HE also likes Elmo, so he loves to point to the Elmo on his chest. It's really easy to put on him and is small and pretty much weightless, so it's easy to pack in his diaper bag. I love it!
ELMO TODDLER SAFETY HARNESS July 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This item is very useful in helping us train our 18 month old twins to walk along-side us in public places.Without the harness our twins would be running in multi- directional mayhem!.Holding hands is not enough because they often slip away.(I've never liked the idea of leashes for kids, but the "safety issue" is most important!).Its cute,& the kids like the bright color with Elmos face in front center. Easy to put on overhead & one arm slips thru. The wide width and mega strength of the velcro straps in back were a nice suprise.Good quality for the price. The only complaint I have is that after adjusting the shoulder straps it left more excess than I would like hanging behind their shoulders, and there isnt a way to neatly tuck the excess straps in.Otherwise,I recommend this product.Light, keeps clean & great for summer.
A life saver June 29, 2008 It is the nicest one of its kind i really hate the animal ones it fits perfecly in my purse so i have it ready every time the only thing i dont like its that its a little small around the chest and not adjustable for big kids like mine, he's 3 but a big boy also the shoulder straps are adjustable but they could be better with snap in buckles, it is just cheaply made, but i still get very nice compliments everywhere i go. Now that im pregnant i cant go out without it i cant run behind my kid he likes to fell free and dont like me holding his hand all the time he thinks he's a big boy, sometimes i had to pull him making him fall but two of those times he was trying to run towards the street so i really thik is a life saver i take it to airport shopping court movies dine out walk etc. i used the handstrap on my older son when he was little and liked it but he was more controlable, this time i needded more control so it had to be really hard for him to take out and this is perfect. i wish they improve it and also have more designs and colors and for baby girls
