Product Description Movable arms and feet and a soft body make this little sheep a wonderful, huggable companion for baby. Knuddelschaf's soft, big-looped, cotton coat can be removed and washed. Design by Ines Framelt. Made of maple wood and cotton. Multiple coats of natural, water-based, non-toxic lacquers ensure Knuddelschaf's colors will stay vivid and bright for years to come. A quality toy that was crafted to withstand years, even generations, of childhood adoration and play.

Lovable Little Lamb November 17, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As the previous reviewers pointed out, the sheep is smaller than expected. However, I felt it was just the right size for my son to grasp at 4 to 6 months of age. He doesn't show much interest in playing with him, but he does like to chew on the wooden parts every now and then when I offer it to him. But I guess I'm really happy I bought it for myself (haha) because I think it is absolutely adorable. As for the price, it is comparable to other similar European, wooden toys. For me, the price is worth the quality, construction, design and safety. It sits on my sons dresser with his other wooden toys and just looks so cute. I'm still giving it 5 stars because it is so well made and so sweet.
Teeny Tiny Sheepie July 2, 2007 When I bought this little sheepie he was called a hugging sheep. He is absolutely adorable, but too tiny for anyone bigger than a gerbil to hug. Why isn't he bigger? For his size he seems overpriced, but maybe I'm used to cheap goods mass-produced? I don't remember noticing where he was made.
Cute, but way TOO TINY! March 5, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Perhaps I am not as perceptive as I thought I was, but Knuddleschaf (we call him Noodles) is all of approximately 3 inches tall (I thought it was bigger in the picture). There wasn't a description of its dimensions when I purchased it, and at about $15 it really isn't a good value monetarily speaking. Having said that, it is cute and well made, but too tiny to retain any child's interest.
one year old loves it! December 12, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my son for Christmas, but he saw me unpacking the mail order and instantly fell in love with this little guy. He really doesn't like stuffed animals, but I was hoping he'd be the perfect driver for his play vehicles.
I assumed the outfit velcroed on and off, but it doesn't. There's elastic around the neck. And the package says it should not be played with without his clothes on. Not sure why? I was hoping we could pretend he was sheered, but I guess not. As I said above, my son doesn't like stuffed animals- in reality, I bought this lamb for myself :-) Higly recommend this little cutie.
