 cute bear, but womb sounds broke down September 30, 2008
We were given this as a gift and within a week or two the womb sounds machine was broken. It will only play for about 30 seconds. I can't return it as it was a gift.
As a teddy bear, it's very cute and cuddly, and my son loves it, but if you're buying it for the sounds machine then don't bother. We ended up pulling out the machine and stitching the bear back up so it can be a regular teddy bear.

My daughter loves this! She is 10 months now and we took out the sounds, which is removable and let her play with the teddy. I have given this bear several times as a new mom shower gift.

This bear plays 2 different songs, has a heartbeat mode, and 2 nature sounds. I like that this is done with the push of a button and not a wind up. There is also a volume control.

I GOT THE SUMMER INFANT MOMMIES MELODY GUND BEAR FOR MY NEICE FOR HER BABY SHOWER......(IT'S A GIRL)..I CAN'T WAIT TO GIVE IT TO HER, I HAVE TRIED IT OUT AND THE THREE LULLABY ARE SO SOOTHING,THEN YOU ALSO GET TWO NATURE SOUNDS, PLUS THE WOMB SOUND,IT ALSO COMES WITH A 20 MINUTE SHUT OFF TIMER.THE BEAR CAN BE STRAPPED TO THE SIDE OF THE BABIES CRIB. THE BEAR IS VERY SOFT AND CUDDLY AND JUST THE RIGHT SIZE FOR LOTS OF "BEAR HUGS" I CAN JUST SEE MY GREAT NEICE CARRYING THIS TEDDY BEAR AROUND WHEN SHE IS UP WALKING

This bear has lulled our 18mo old to sleep since birth. it's so soft and has traveled with us everywhere to make bed time secure. I have three! just in case "Bear" ever gets lost. I also give this as a baby gift!
