Product Description The under-the-mattress Movement Sensor Pad detects your baby?s movements and sends the signal to the Nursery Unit, which sounds an alarm ONLY if no movement is detected for 20 seconds. It also transmits all other nursery sounds and has a Movement Indicator Light showing if movement is being detected. The Parents? Units receive the alarm and all other nursery sounds. Two Parents? Units give you the flexibility of always leaving one in your bedroom while moving the second unit to the room you are in while your baby is sleeping. Additional features include a nightlight on the nursury unit, color LCD displays, out or range indicator and tempuratire feature. Both units are rechargable and include 8 channels with a range of 820 ft. Includes an under-the-mattress Sensor Pad, a Nursery Unit, a Parents Unit (sound monitor) and two AC adapters. Requires 12 AAA batteries (8 AAA batteries inlcuded).

Unbelievably helpful and stress relieving! August 26, 2008 Unbelievably helpful and stress relieving! Just remember to turn the monitor off BEFORE you pick up the baby every time. And remember that if you hold private conversations in the room with the mic, make sure the kids dont have the monitor : )
Outstanding!!!!! August 24, 2008 if mine somehow broke or was stolen and they started charging $1000 for this thing id still buy it. this monitor is the only reason I'm sleeping at night. everyone sings the praises of video monitors but unless you watch the screen the whole time your baby is sleeping the video is no help in my opinion. i have had no false alarms as some of the others have claimed so it makes me think maybe they have theirs set up wrong. as for some of the other complaints in these reviews, try reading the manual.
I love the monitor August 22, 2008 I am very pleased with this monitor. We have had it for 2 and 1/2 months with no regrets. I really like the reassurance of knowing he ok without checking on him every hour all night. I was worried that we would get a lot of false alarms with the motion sensor, but have not had one. I also like the feature that you can make the sound part voice activated so you don't hear static all night long. I think you can't go wrong with this monitor.
It Works.. August 13, 2008 This thing works great.. We wanted piece of mind once our baby started rolling over on her stomach.. We had just 1 false alarm so far.. I forget that its working until I take the baby out.. fyi..just remember to use the board underneath the mattress like the instructions say..
Not a fan of BeBeSounds Angelcare August 9, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
We purchased this monitor for our first born 7-2008 and were very dissatisfied. There is not a way to disable to movement sensor even by just unplugging it. I was on the phone with Graco for over 45 minutes and they could not figure it out either.
Main issue with this monitoring is that an alarm sounds on both the receiver end and the baby's end whenever movement is not detected for over 20 seconds. All I can figure is it alarms for baby to make her stir and start moving again. In our case all it did is upset our newborn who we'd just spend 2 hours trying to get to sleep.
Needless to say, without the ability to disable the movement sensor and alarm, this was of no use to us and we returned it for a more basic monitoring system. Parents should know this alarm is unnerving for both you (who might possibly be sleep-deprived) and for baby...
Its a poor design when you don't have the option to turn off features such as the movement sensor. LAME.
