Love this stroller August 28, 2008 I purchased this stroller b/c we have an infant and a 4 year old. My 4 year old loves to ride next to her sister. We bought this about 3-4 months ago and it's wonderful. When I use the infant seat she can fit on the smaller side and when I take our little one out to look around I have the older one ride on the bigger side. They both laugh and giggle in it. It is extremely easy to push and the fact that it will fit through a single door is great. Some store isles are small, but even my smaller stroller would have problems. The only con I've found is the storage bag underneath is hard to get things in and out of and sometimes I feel I have to crawl on the floor, but to me that's nothing for the ease of folding it and the lightweight, especially for a double stroller. If I had to do it all over again I would buy this without a second thought.
DON"T BUY THIS STROLLER.....AWFUL!!!! August 7, 2008 This stroller is HORRIBLE!!!! I have a 1yr and a 2yr old. This stroller is a nightmare! I will admit I was lured in by the name and the fact it was the only stroller that was a double and weighed only 14lbs. However, I should have known better. This stroller is ALL PLASTIC!!!! It claims it will fit through a doorway...well it might go through the doorway but not until you've spent 10minutes going back and forth trying to get the darn wheel unstuck. And try pushing 2 kids who are different weights...22lbs and 35lbs and you'll want to fling it into the ocean!! You can't walk straight because the heavier one makes it lean. My arms and wrists ache every bump or curb I was sure I would see my little one flying out. The only good thing is the weight...I can easily throw it in my suv AND the snack tray is great. Oh, and speaking of my SUV....trying to FOLD AND UNFOLD will leave you in a sweaty dishevelled MESS! I've never NOT had problems folding and unfolding this stroller....something is always stuck...something is always caught. It sticks and is a nightmare.....NOT FUN when all you need to do is run into the grocery store! Oh, and the basket underneath....yah it's roomy...but when you put something in it...it drags on the ground...or it rubs against the wheel so that is a rib waiting to happen. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! I'm currently looking at Maclaren strollers....DON"T BUY THIS STROLLER!!!
Loved it early on---HATE it Now! July 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When I first bought this my son was a newborn and my daughter was 22 months (and very small for her age). I have no major complaints other than the stickers with the name peeled off (not good for resale). Now, the kids are not quite five and turning 3. They both like to ride in a stroller, which makes mall trips so much nicer for me. However, I hate this stroller. Maybe because they are heavier, it is getting harder to turn. I always have problems with the front wheels and getting the darn thing to go in the direction I want. One of the reasons I purchased this over the COMBI double is due to the large basket underneath. When a lot is put in it, the fabric drags on the ground. DO NOT purchase this product; no significant redesign has been made since my model. Look at the COMBI or MACLAREN instead.
Huge Waste of Money June 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am extremely disappointed with this stroller. We are a low income family so this was a huge purchase for us, and we have been let down. We fell in love with the ease of use of the stroller and the size. Since we had two little ones and were expecting to have more, we figured this would be a good investment. We have had this for only a year and have had numerous problems. It's already wobbly, one seat is broken, and it's just a wimp. We use it less than once a week, and our kids are very light weight. It can't even handle small bumps on the side walk without giving everyone a jolt. I know that sometimes higher cost means higher quality, but not with this product..all you are paying for is the name- which in my opinion makes me look like a money spending fool since it's such a disgusting waste of money.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT May 24, 2008 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
I am a mother of 5 and my husband and I were shocked to find out that we were going to have our fifth when our fourth was only 6 months old. As such, we started looking for double strollers because we knew we would need one. I have a bad back and I needed to make sure the stroller was light, easy to manuver, and user friendly. My husband and I purchased the item via APO (My husband is active duty military) and we received it very quickly. Our daughter was born 3 months later and we had the stroller stored until her birth. We have used it for just short of a month and we have had nothing but problems with it. The center bar has separated from the main handle because the screw that held the assembly together broke! When folding the stroller, the left rear bar sticks and we have to beat the thing before it will release and fold. When we bought this item, the specifications said that it can be opened and closed with one hand, which is a total farce! It will open with one hand AFTER you release 2 latches on the left and right sides of the handle. It also takes 2 hands to close it, again latches on the left and right sides. The width of this stroller makes it a chore to enter a standard doorway. It barely fits! If the wheels are slightly left or right, it will catch on the doorjam! My husband has done nothing but complain about the harness for our older son. It very complicated and time consuming to get a child in and out! I have started looking at different and CHEAPER brands and have found one that I will live with. The Per Perego line is OVER PRICED and poorly built. I also bought a car seat from the same line of products and I could have got the same style for a third of the price. Buyers BEWARE!
