it leaks September 29, 2008 this tub leaks water everywhere, even when properly set up. there are also hundreds of negative reviews on the babies r us website.
it leaks May 25, 2008 I spent a full hour trying to get it to "snap" in place, and it just kept leaking. My husband came home and tried for another 1/2 hour, with no luck. Our baby was finally bathed that night in the kitchen sink, and I've never looked back. Interestingly, when I met some other new moms in the neighborhood and got to talking about baby baths, wouldn't you know another mom reported a similar experience... I can't believe BabiesRUs is selling this defective product.
Buy another tub December 6, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
It leaks. We tried everything and ended up putting a towel under it to avoid a bigger mess. It also has sharp corners on the bottom that are hard to clean, but that's not such a big deal. The sponge worked for newborn, but my baby is 3 months old and normal size and doesn't really fit well any more. Also, his back side rubs against the "step" created by the folding feature when on the sling. That can't be comfortable. We're buying another tub.
ok tub November 11, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this tub as a resent for my newborn this year. Every time I use it, it leaks water, most of the time it's a slow leak, but still you can't have your child in there for too long. There is also 2 "hook" things that I don't know what are for. It looks like they are for a cushion or something to lean the baby on, but there's no directions so I'm not sure. I guess this tub is ok, but I probably won't use it for very long, especially when he is sitting up.
Tub doesn't hold water September 24, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The tub slides together a few inches to make it smaller for storage, and pulls out to snap into place for use. But when the tub is actually in use, water leaks out--making this bathtub a horribly useless waste of plastic just destined for landfill. Terrible design. One poster noted that when properly snapped in place the tub won't leak. I have spent nearly an hour trying to figure this thing out, to no avail. The tub doesn not come with instructions, and I don't have any more time to waste on this piece of junk. I was going to give this away, but I don't want the bad karma that would result in causing another busy parent this same frustration.
