Fun for Teens September 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Chetah Girls One World from Walt Disney Records is the newest release from the group, who are a favorite with the kid set. This interactive video takes CD's to a new level with CDVU, which has many extras including video dancing lessons with the girls teaching the steps, words to the favorite songs so can sing along with your favorite new ones. There are video clips and automatic connections to Disney.com. Kids of all ages will enjoy this new release.
Great for what it is August 29, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is well produced bubble gum music for young girls and it is does its job. The harmonies are good, the melodies catchy, and the lyrics-pretty harmless. I have lots of young students who really enjoy this album.
Stronger than ever. August 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Cheetah Girls are definetely stronger than ever. After their REALLY underrated TCG album, they release the OST for One World. No as well-produced as TCG, but still great! I purchased this album waiting for something weak, typical in Disney Channel Movies, but it did surprise me.
Disney should be ashamed of not helping these girls to promote their album properly. They are more talented than Raven, Hillary, Miley and the whole HSM cast.
These girls are good! Not only they write and co-write some of the songs, but they can really do this live with strong vocals (Check out The Cheetah Girls' Wal-Mart Soundcheck to see 'em singing live. Three of the performed songs are in this album - One World, Cheetah Love and Dance Me If You Can).
A must-to-have to fans of good pop music with a dash of hip-hop. My fave one is Cheetah Love. This song was dropped from their latest CD, TCG.
Cheetahs! August 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I personally totally disagree with the face that without Raven, the Cheetah Girls don't have much. I never really liked Raven so that wasn't an issue for me. They can still pull of great pieces that sound good and are fun to listen to. They have catchy tunes and lyrics and deserve a good, thorough listen.
