Shermag Ottoman The Shermag Ottoman is great for relaxing. It goes great with a Shermag Glider and helps make nursing or resting much more comfortable. It is a piece of Shermag furniture which features a long smooth, gliding motion. It is very easy to glide back and forth in a smooth manner. The Shermag Ottoman features a great gliding motion. Relaxing with legs up and rocking back and forth will never be as much fun again. The ottoman from Shermag features a frame which is made of birch and comes in a variety of finishes, perfect to match the needs of any parent. Unfortunately, this product is not able to be delivered to APO/FPO addresses.

Designed to accompany and move in sync with Shermag's matching Cherry Glider Rocker (sold separately), the Cherry Ottoman is very well made. Sitting squarely on the ground with a cherry wood base that acts as a built-in gliding mechanism, the ottoman can be pushed or pulled, and it swings smoothly, almost silently, back and forth like a pendulum. The ottoman is filled with thick polyurethane foam and attractively upholstered with a textured blue fabric cover. The result is a luxuriously soft throne for your feet while you relax in the glider and gently rock your baby to sleep. All of the wood components in the base have been nicely beveled and sanded for a finished look, but there is always the potential for crawling babies or exploring toddlers to get a finger or hand caught in the ottoman's base while it is moving. With that in mind, little ones should always be supervised around the ottoman once they begin to crawl and become more mobile. --Chris Burns

I agree with another reviewer. This is a necessary companion to the glider. We initially bought the glider from a Babies R Us store, but were disappointed when the ottoman was out of stock. We used the glider for about a week before the ottoman we ordered off the website arrived. The ottoman makes the glider so much more comfortable, especially for short people.

Initially, I bought the glider without this ottoman. When my wife tried to feed our newborn infant it was quite challenging until I ordered and received the ottoman. It made feeding so much easier and furthermore my wife loved it's styling. All around win.
