I'm not a medical professional, but bought this for use with my home fetal doppler. I haven't had any issues; it works well.

This is the same gel that is used at my doctor's office and at the ultrasound center. I ordered it to use along with my fetal doppler. The bottle is so large, I highly doubt I'll be able to use much of it before my babies are here!
