I clean our straws each night using soapy water and a cotton swab--no curdled milk! I have to push the swab through with a swizzle stick, as the long straw is about twice the length of the swab. The only reason I needed a replacement was that I misplaced one of the top assemblies, including the straws--bwaaaa!
PS: I am switching to a Foogo by Thermos and using only glass and stainless for the two newbies when they arrive. I hope Playtex gets on board and dumps the plastic.
Much needed and cheaper than new cups November 5, 2007
These came on time and brand new. We throw away straws that have had milk curdled in them. These save us from buying new cups!
