Amazon.com Product Description Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers offer soft, cloth-like comfort and feature stretchy leg gathers and closure tabs. In addition to keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, the absorbent polymer in these diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin. All-Natural Natural Comfort for Your Child Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers are made with your baby and your environment in mind. The chlorine-free materials and absorbent polymers used in the diapers help keep your baby dry in between changes and through the night. In addition to being effective at keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, studies show that the absorbent polymer used in the diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin. Hypo-allergenic and offering soft, cloth-like comfort and premium absorbency, these diapers are made of chlorine-free absorbent materials that do not contribute to dioxin pollution. They feature super-stretchy resealable closure tabs and super-stretchy leg gathers that work to provide your baby with a comfortable, safe, close-fitting thin diaper. Why Does Chlorine-Free Matter? Your choice of our chlorine free diapers could help reduce cancer rates. Your choice of chlorine-free diapers helps reduce the amount of dioxin polluting our air, water and soil, and helps make the world a safer, healthier place for your family and generations to come. When chlorine and chlorine derivatives are used in industrial processes (such as bleaching paper and wood pulp), they produce substances called chlorinated hydrocarbons, which persist in the environment, accumulate in animals and people, and can be toxic to human and environmental health. The production of chlorine can also release the toxic metal mercury into the environment. If every household in the U.S. replaced just one 40-count package of conventional diapers with these chlorine-free diapers, we could avoid 133,000 pounds of pollution from entering the environment. About Seventh Generation Seventh Generation offers a complete line of natural household products designed to work as well as their traditional counterparts, but use renewable, non-toxic, and phosphate-free ingredients as often as possible, and are never tested on animals. Seventh Generation products are healthy and safe for the air, the surfaces, the pets, and the people in your home--and for the environment outside of it. Every time you use Seventh Generation products you make a difference by saving natural resources, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment, and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

Simple Diapers August 25, 2008 When my baby was a newborn the diapers would leak sometimes. Now that she has filled out and is moving around, they never leak even after a long nights sleep. I like that fact that the diapers have no pictures or dyes on them (they are a tan color) and that they don't smell like plastic. My baby only had a diaper rash once when I used non-seventh generation wipes.
Works well August 21, 2008 The newborn diapers leaked a few times, but when we used the pampers from the hospital there were no leaks, so I think there is a fit issue with the 7th Gens. However, now we are on size 1 and no leaks so far. I like that it's unbleached, but wish the material is a little softer (it bothers me more than it bothers my baby though).
Seventh Gen NB diapers July 30, 2008 The reason I gave these a 2 star rating is that they fit poorly on small newborns; in fact they didn't fit my 6lb 9oz newborn until he was almost 3 weeks old. The leg openings are huge so we were prone to leaks. I ended up needing to use Pampers swaddlers (yuk chlorine!) because at least they fit small babes well.
nice product July 28, 2008 We stocked up on these before our twins were born since we decided for the first month or so we would use disposable diapers until our preemies grew into their Bum Genius AIO's and we were able to keep up with the laundry. We recieved a ton of newborn diapers (swaddlers) from the hospital and packages of diapers from family and as these are a bit smaller than the 7th Generations we have been using these first. The 7th G diapers are a little bigger and bulkier than the swaddlers, they don't have a cut out for the cord but of course this can be dealt with simply by folding the front of the diaper down in front for that short time. When we have used the 7th G diapers they have worked just fine and I've had no leaking problem which is more than I can say with the other brands I have used and my babies are only 6 pounds right now and they have been ok but will fit better when babies are a tad bigger. As with any diaper, size counts. If your baby has outgrown the diaper size it will leak alot so you will want to follow the sizing chart.
If you love doing laundry this is the diaper for you July 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The worst diaper I have ever used and I have used plenty of different ones. I thought it would be nice to try a more eco-friendly product. But what a HUGE mistake. This diaper leaks constantly. Yesterday alone, I had to change my baby's clothes 7 times. So if your baby is not sensitive to chlorine and can use other diapers this is not the one for you - unless you love doing laundry and/or seeing your baby in many different outfits throughout the day.
