Relieves many symptoms for adults and children over age six with no after taste, known as the histamine blocker.
The box contains twenty cherry flavored tablets, medium sized. I could not figure out why some of the tablets have a 5 and others have a B on the middle of them.
The taste of the tablet when first placed in my mouth was very pleasing, but as it dissolved there was a medicine flavor to it. My son had no comment whatsoever when he had one tablet, plus did not request any water after the tablet was melted. Within fifteen minutes I had no more sneezing or watery eyes each time I consumed tablets. That is why the last time I stuck to just one tablet and felt relieve just as quickly.
My son stopped making those irritating throat sounds within ten minutes or so after having one tablet. For his age range of six to twelve the dosage can be one to two tablets (19 mg to 38 mg).
There was nothing wrong with placing a Triaminic Vapor Patch during the daytime hours when my son was on the Children's Benadryl Allergy Fastmelt. Neither of us has required more than the initial dosage taken in the morning, but you can take up to six doses in a twenty-four hour period, basically every four to six hours.
The tablet easily dissolves in your mouth based on my experience and the way my son handled his tablet. The relief is temporary but works on our morning allergy symptoms just fine.
