 Daughter Likes Them May 26, 2008
My daughter, just under 4 years old, usually takes Rainbow Light star vitamins. We're running out of those so I decided to try these. Of course, she went for it because of the princesses.
My daughter told me they taste yummy without me even asking her opinion. I haven't tried one myself. So no problem there. I was going to try the gummies, but thought she'd like these just as well. I was right.
My only concern with this brand is they contain 18mg iron (ferrous sulfate), which I believe is more than the recommended dose of 10mg daily for children over 4. By comparison, the Rainbow Light children's vitamins contain 5mg iron in each "star."
I'm definitely going to run it by our family doctor or peditrician to see if they think it's too much iron. Until then, I'll give her half a pill each day just to make sure she doesn't OD on iron.

My daughter wanted to try these for obvious reasons. She has tasted Flintstones before and liked those fine. She disliked these. I dislike these (she is under 4 so we split it). I suppose if either of us never had Flintstones before we might not think they are that bad. If you or your kid has had Flintstones before you will most likely be disappointed with the taste. It could be that these are more natural (as in number of ingredients). They don't appear to contain Phenylalanine, so that might be reason enough to choose these over Flintstones, even though taste yucky.

These taste awful, just awful. Don't buy these vitamins. I have two children, ages 8 & 4, and have been buying children's chewable vitamins for years. We've tried a variety of products. These are the worst we have ever tasted. I'm throwing these away. If I could rate these with a negative value, I would have done so.
