| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com When Baby Bear must learn his alphabet in one day, Big Bird patiently takes him under his wing in Do the Alphabet. Only "The Method," (a hilarious combination of dance, song, visualization, and group therapy) can help Baby Bear on such short notice. The result is 40 minutes of ABC's Sesame Street style, where vibrant educational cartoons, enthusiastic kids, famous guest stars (here, Billy Joel), and harmonizing Muppets make lasting educational impressions. Children age 2 to 6 will enjoy the upbeat musical numbers dedicated to various letters; a favorite segment features the Boogie Woogie Piggies and their flashy rendition of the alphabet song. Throughout the well-paced show, Big Bird offers just the right blend of coaching and friendship, much like the ace support group leader he's mildly spoofing. Hats off to Sesame Street for helping Baby Bear--and his viewing audience--understand that learning takes time, patience, and a team effort. --Liane Thomas

fun to watch June 22, 2008 Good video for learning the ABC's. My 1 year old can sing the whole song.
not a good introduction to the alphabet June 1, 2008 my twin boys hated this video - it was boring and on top of that, the letters that they DID learn were never pronounced correctly! they ended up learning the alphabet from the leapfrog letter factory.
My daughter loves it! April 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 18 month old is obsessed with letters and the alphabet, so I purchased this DVD. She enjoys Sesame Street as well, so I thought this would be good. She is GLUED to this video whenever I put it on! She dances when they sing the alphabet. I would have liked to see more of the old school characters on this video, like Grover, Oscar, Ernie, Bert and Cookie Monster (Ernie and Cookie Monster are in it briefly). But all in all, she loves it and is learning so I'm happy with it.
funplay March 27, 2008 My daughter spends hours glued to the tv just to see this video, great gift, entertains even the adults
GARBAGE! February 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The dvd teaches children to pronounce words wrong. One of the characters has a pronunciation problem and is pronouncing words wrong. If you want your child to be pronouncing words wrong then buy it. Shame on sesame street. I thought this dvd was going to teach my children better pronunciation.
