Product Description Chart your Basal Body Temperature and predict ovulation - your most fertile time of the month for conceiving a baby - with a specially designed digital BBT Thermometer. When a woman ovulates, a rise in body temperature takes place in order to provide a more fertile environment for conception. By monitoring when this temperature change occurs, you can determine when ovulation takes place in your cycle. Recording each day's basal body temperature with a BBT Thermometer will help you predict ovulation. The Fairhaven Health Digital Basal Thermometer provides temperature readings to 1/100th of a degree - perfect for fertility charting and predicting ovulation.

Great Buy! July 3, 2008 This product is easy to use and very accurate. The directions are simple to read and understand and it is just what you need to track ovulation. I suggest using the ovulation calendar found on [...] with this product.
Highly inaccurate June 29, 2008 This thermometer was so inaccurate. I tested it several times, taking my temp. three times in a row, and always got a wide variety of temps, despite being very careful to not move the thermometer around. It also took forever, and the recall button barely worked. It would only flash the recall temp. for a very brief moment. I threw it away and got the BD Basal Digital Thermometer instead. It gives the same temp. when tested 3 times in a row, every time. Also, the back light is great, and it works fast, too. It's also not as unwieldy as this one was.
convenient thermometer June 4, 2008 This thermometer beeps when finished calculating my temperature in the morning, which is really nice when I'm not quite ready to get up yet. I can lay with my eyes closed and wait for the beep. The only downside is that it takes longer than 1 minute to read the temperature, so I wish it worked a little faster.
Body Basal Thermometer June 4, 2008 I was impressed with how fast the thermometer got to me! That was exciting! I also really lke the size of the thermometer. It is not huge and it has a nice case to protect it. I think that it has been pretty accurate for me so far, but I have only had it for a month. THe other thing I really like abouit it is that it stires temperatures so it I forget what my temperature was that morning all I have to do is look at the thermometer and it will tell me!
Memory is inconsistant April 12, 2008 The memory feature is less to be desired. It more often sets back to the default temperature when holding the ON button. It is a pain to have to get out of bed and walk across the room to turn on the light to read it and record it right away. I bought it because of the memory feature and am displeased with the lack there of. Now I just keep a flashlight next to the bed so I can record it right away. I wouldn't recommend this one if you are counting on the memory to be correct last temp taken.
