After receiving this attractive baby book I noted it was made in China. The paint on the cloth seemed very bright and thick. In remembering the news articles about bright, shiny paint used by the Chinese in painting children's toys, I just couldn't bring myself to give it as a baby gift to my nephew and his wife. I have opened it, but I don't feel good about giving it to Goodwill either. I may need to throw it away . . . though that is a sad thought also.
