Excellent Product! August 18, 2008 This sun shade is wonderful. Our stroller has a very short shade which is basically useless. The Kiddopotamus & Co Rayshade was the perfect solution to our stroller's flaw. On a recent trip to Disney in Florida, it kept my son shaded and protected. He would have been uncomfortable otherwise, because I can't get him to keep a hat or sunglasses on. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for additional protection for their child.
Stroller shade is excellent! August 8, 2008 This is great, it made a huge difference when we were on vacation. No more readjusting an unwieldy umbrella or covering the baby with a sheet. It covers all the way to his toes. I wish strollers came with better shades themselves. Not 5 stars only because the velcro straps are not the best attachments but they do work pretty well.
Spectacular sun shade July 22, 2008 I received the sun shade and immediately tried it on both our small McClaren and our single Phil & Ted's E3 Buggy. It fit both and did exactly what we needed for it to do. It does take a little fiddling with to figure out the best way to attach it in regard to where to wrap the straps and latching the velcro, but still it was a no brainer to attach to the strollers. My daughter is so happy to not have to wear her hat. The brim flips back with the stroller brim so if you are in and out of the sun it is really simple to open and close. Some reviewers had stated that it is flimsy and blows in the wind which is true. It's not usually blowing up where I am and when I did get a breeze it blew a bit, but still shaded my child. I'm very glad that I made this purchase.
couldn't live without it! July 13, 2008 I love this stroller sun shade! We live on a tropical island that gets loads of sun and the Kiddopatamus sun shade is perfect for keeping my little man out of the sun. I have read some reviews where people complain about the sun shade not fairing well in the wind but I have not had that problem. My only gripe is that the sun shade is only 100% effective when the sun is pretty much directly overhead. If the sun is at an angle my son does end up getting some sun but it's still less than if we did not have the sun shade. When I'm walking in the morning or in the evening when the sun is at an angle I simply pull the sun shade down and readjust it - the velcro straps are pretty long so you can make it fit no matter how you have to tweek it. Overall a super product that I would recommend anyone purchase! Well worth the money!
Does the job. July 7, 2008 There isn't much selection when it comes to choosing an extended shade for your stroller. This shade is made of what I would describe as women's swimsuit material. There is the potential for it to be too flimsy in the wind as other comments have noted, but so far I have not been in that situation. The velcro tends to snag the shade material, damaging it. Easy to put on and off, although you can't fold your stroller with it on. Can somewhat be extended to varying degrees but not as nicely as the photo shows. Overall, does the job. Nothing fancy.
