Really like it! February 25, 2006 44 out of 44 found this review helpful
I just got this tub and our 2 month old loves it! Whenever he's crabby at night I just fill this up and he stops crying as soon as he lays in it. He looks so comfy and he could just fall asleep in it. He doesn't slip around either so I don't have to worry so much. The only problem I have is that when it drains the soap builds up on the sling part, but I just spray it off with the faucet sprayer and wash it after every few baths.

I agree with the earlier reviews. We were also sold out on the sling. Just as we were to give the baby bath we noticed the bump right in the middle of the tub. The picture on the instructions appears as if the baby is on the sling and is deceptive. Buyers beware of this tub.
Love this tub! February 11, 2006 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
After trying 2 other tubs that were HORRIBLE, we tried this one. Our daughter is 5 1/2 months old, and can sit up fairly well. She's about 18 pounds and very long, so having enough space for her legs was an issue. We found that the other tubs we tried weren't long enough, nor were they very comfortable. She ended up with red marks all over her legs and back from other tubs, but this one was wonderful! There's enough room for her to sit up and splash and play, and there's still room to grow. And it does NOT leak like the Safety 1st 4-in-1 bath station, which we also have. I cannot rate the newborn/infant side of the tub, since she's already outgrown that stage, but the older baby side is definitely the best I've seen so far.
this tub is tricky for middle stage babies February 5, 2006 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I purchased this tub when my daughter outgrew her infant folding tub. I was looking for something that would grow with her through the toddler stage. I went with this because I thought the hammock would be more comfortable for her at this stage. She is 7 months and about 17 lbs and kind of on the long side. She didnt fit in the small end of the tub very well and she sat up very high. And yes, that 'bump' looked like it was very uncomfortable on her bottom and lower back, it left a red mark. I was going to take it back but my husband threw the packaging away. sooo i improvised and now i use the large end of the tub and hook the hammock on that side of the tub (the part of the hammock with the pillow was made to fit the small end of the tub but it will go on the large end, only the hooks dont line up with the grooves on the tub) This is much easier and provides comfort as well as support so the baby doesnt slip all over the place and she doesnt get that bump digging into her. This tub is definately awkward for the middle stage babies; those between small infants and toddlers. but I managed to make it work. Also I wash the hammock just about every time I use the tub, i used to hang it up to dry after each bath and it started to get that funky smell. It goes in the washer and dryer, which is great. So at first I disliked this tub but now it works for me.
Very Disappointing!!! February 3, 2006 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
Everyone knows how awkward it is to bathe an infant, so the sling on this tub is what had me sold. Boy was I wrong! My son screamed in this tub. The sling got very cold once it was wet(not to mention there was a "bump" in the middle of the tub that dug into my son's back). It took us using it only once to determine that this tub will not work out...what a waste of money! I have learned that the items with all the bells and whistles are usually not worth the money spent. We are now using a very basic sponge-type bather that sits in the tub and stays very warm. Now I get nothing but sweet smiles during bath time.
