Baby Tested, Mom Approved January 27, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Given any choice, these are the only wipes that I will use on my little one. Tried them shorly after bringing her home from the hospital. Lanolin was the only substance recommended by my doctors & nurses for me to use as a nursing supply. It stood to reason that it would be good for my daughter's skin as well. Let me tell you - "good" doesn't begin to cover it.
She's now 7 months old and has never had diaper rash. Not once. We've been through nursing, starting to add in some formula, and the interesting crossover into the world of solid food. Had some days when it feels she never gets off of the changing table - with 4-5 heavily soiled diapers in a single day. And never a bit of diaper rash.
These wipes are soft and silky - feel so much better than the chemical wipes put out as "gentle". The pack is easy to navigate - the one handed pull works well. I keep one pack in the diaper bag and another on her changing table.
I noted the reviewer in here who mentioned that they've used them for clean-ups on the face. What a great idea! We'll be trying that tonight as she paints her face with peas....
For anyone looking at baby supplies: If you are planning to nurse I would also recommend the Lansinoh nursing pads. I tried several brands - these are the only way to go. You'll feel the difference very quickly.
These are fantastic!! October 17, 2006 I've been using these wipes for my fourth baby, now 7 months old, and she has NEVER had any kind of diaper rash, and I've never needed to use diaper cream. We ran out once or twice when she was smaller and using any others for even a day or two would start to cause redness......compared to the lansinohs, even the "gentle" regular wipes feel harsh. I LOVE these wipes, just wish they were available at more stores!
Baby Approved September 24, 2006 I found these at wal mart while looking for another brand. There lanolin worked great on my cracked nipple so I gave them a try. My baby seemed to like them and I thought they were great. Well I ran out and had to use another brand for a few days, baby cried & fought every diaper change.
When I finally found these again I showed him the package and told him we got his good wipes again. His little face lit up and he started giggling. I have even started using these to wipe spit-up off his face.
I'd buy by the case if I could.
The Best! August 13, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After trying several other brands I switched permanently to these wipes. They are much softer than others. Like the other reviewer said, they leave no fibers behind. They also don't dry out as quickly as some of the others, so it takes less at each diaper change. They're the best!
